Media Production
Photography, video and post-production
Media is what most marketing is actually made of. An ad is creative before it is targeting, a product page is photography before it is copy, and a social feed is video before it is a caption. When the media is weak, everything downstream of it works harder for less.
We produce photography and video as part of the marketing work rather than as a separate procurement exercise — which matters mainly because it means the shoot is planned around where the assets will be used, in the aspect ratios and lengths those places require, rather than producing beautiful footage that then has to be forced into a vertical crop.
What's included
Photography
Product photography
clean catalogue shots on white, detail and scale shots, and the consistency across a range that makes a category page look like a real brand.
Lifestyle and in-context photography
the product in use, which is what actually sells it once the specifications have been read.
Corporate and team portraits
for your about page, profiles and press, shot so they still look like the same set when someone joins next year.
Facility, site and process photography
the images that make a service business tangible and are almost always missing.
Food, interiors and architecture
where the category demands specialist lighting.
Event coverage
launches, conferences and internal events, delivered fast enough to still be usable.

Video
- Brand films — the piece that explains who you are, used on the homepage and in pitches.
- Product and service videos — how it works, why it is different, shot to be watched without sound as well as with it.
- Short-form vertical video for social and paid — where most video attention now is, and where production values matter less than the first two seconds.
- Testimonials and case study films — the most persuasive asset available for a considered purchase, and the hardest to fake.
- Explainers and animation — for anything abstract, technical or not yet built, produced with our motion team.
- Advertising creative — including the multiple cuts, ratios and hooks a paid campaign needs to test properly.
- Recruitment video — for hiring, where showing the work beats describing it.
Post-production
Editing, colour grading, sound design and mixing, motion graphics and titling, subtitles in Arabic and English — and the platform versioning that is quietly the most valuable part: the same production cut for square, vertical and horizontal, at the length each platform actually favours, with burned-in subtitles where sound is off by default.
We also handle the practical side of a media library: naming, tagging, licensing records, model and property releases, and delivery in the formats your team and your systems need — because assets nobody can find get re-shot at full cost.
Planning a shoot properly
- The asset list, from the distribution plan. What is needed, for which channel, in which ratio and length, in both languages. This is the step that stops a shoot from producing the wrong material at the right quality.
- Pre-production. Concept, shot list, locations, permits, casting, styling, props and scheduling. Most shoot problems are pre-production problems.
- Production. Shot with a plan and enough coverage for the edits, including the extra angles that make future re-versioning possible without a reshoot.
- Post. Edit, review rounds, and platform versioning.
- Delivery and archive. Final assets plus the raw material, organised and handed over, so you own it and can use it again.
Regional production considerations
Shooting in the region carries practicalities worth planning for rather than discovering: permits for public and some private locations, heat and light constraints that dictate outdoor scheduling, cultural considerations in casting, wardrobe and framing, and Ramadan and holiday timing that affects both crew availability and what is appropriate to publish. We plan around these, and we advise on them plainly rather than after the fact.
On working with Codigoo
We had been blaming regulation for two years. They spent a week watching recordings and showed us it was question order.
Questions we are usually asked
- Can we not just use stock photography?
For some things, yes, and we will tell you when stock is the sensible choice. But stock is the fastest way to look like every competitor, and for your own products, premises and people there is no substitute. A mixed approach — real photography where it matters, stock where it does not — is usually the right budget decision.
- Can our team shoot content on a phone?
For social, often yes, and we would rather set you up to do that well than sell you a production you do not need. Phone cameras are genuinely capable now; the limits are lighting, sound and consistency. We can provide the templates, guidance and a lighting and audio setup so your own content sits alongside the produced work instead of undermining it.
- How long does production take?
Photography is typically a short cycle from brief to delivery. Video depends almost entirely on scope — a single-location interview and a multi-location brand film are not the same project. Post-production and revision rounds are usually the longest part, and we schedule them explicitly rather than leaving them as a surprise.
- Who owns the footage?
You do, including the raw material, with the usage rights documented. Where a model, voice artist or licensed music is involved, the terms of their release are stated in writing so you know exactly what you can use, where, and for how long.
If your product photography is inconsistent or you have no video at all, a consultation will tell you which assets would earn their cost first.
